Porcelain Veneers

A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain that is bonded to a tooth to improve its color or shape. Veneers cover only the top and front of a tooth. Veneers can be used to close spaces between teeth, lengthen short or misshaped teeth, or whiten stained or darkened teeth.

Porcelain Crowns

Ceramic crowns can also be used to improve the shape and color of teeth. Traditionally porcelain was bonded to a metal core. New breakthroughs in adhesives and stronger ceramics now allow us to use a ceramic core instead of metal. This eliminates the dark line often seen along the gum line of porcelain fused to metal crowns.
